Susquehanna Community School Board gave the nod to 25 sports positions at its Sept. 18 meeting.

These positions included coaching, game managers, ticket takers and personnel to handle the basketball books and clock.

Resignations from Mary Baker and Earl Cottrell were also accepted.

Filling the sports positions will be: Jake Johnson, Jeremy Page, Joshua Carpenter and Tom Adornato for baseball; Joe Collins and Jessica Hubal for softball; Stephen Naydych, Susan Day, Jeff Hall and Mary Weaver for track; Kristopher Gardner, basketball; Susan Crawford, Scott Glidden, Roland Salamon and Carol Bushong as game managers; Raymond Testa, Robin Carmody, Keilli Kane and Rich Emmons for handling the basketball books; Debra Benson and Robin Glidden will handle the ticket taker positions.

Volunteers approved were Richard Bagnall for varsity football and Christen Beamer for student council.

Megan Koziol and Angela Hadden, substitute food service and Kim Marco a high school aide substitute, 48-day position, were also hired.

Also approved was the long list of other substitutes for 2013-14 as well as transportation drivers.
