Search crews locate missing man

Dozens of volunteer fire and EMS personnel joined with police in a search last week for a Pittston area man who went missing from a Middletown Twp. residence.

Kevin Naylor, 49, was reported missing by friends at about 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29. A search of the residence and the wooded area surrounding the residence was conducted that evening.

According to police, the search for Naylor resumed Friday, Aug. 30.

Fire and EMS personnel from Leraysville-Pikle, Rush Twp., Warren Center and Little Meadows, along with troopers from Pennsylvania State Police, Gibson searched the woods in the area.

Naylor was located by fire and EMS volunteers alive, lying in a dry creek bed, hundreds of yards off Shadduck Rd.

Naylor was transported by emergency personnel to a hospital for treatment. Tpr. Michael Joyce investigated the incident.
