For the past 21 years, Susquehanna County Interfaith has warmly welcomed personal care and nursing home residents and clients of local human service agencies to share in a Thanksgiving feast at the Montrose Bible Conference.

Interfaith Executive Director Rachel Pratt expressed her thankfulness for the people who were able to attend the banquet, as well as the Interfaith staff who helped with the annual event.

About 80 people, including several Interfaith staff and former staff members, attended this year’s dinner.

Before the turkey and trimmings were served to the guests, Forest Lake Baptist Church Pastor Ken Young and his wife, Vicki, entertained the crowd with several interactive songs that had the audience moving, clapping and snapping to the music.

This was the first year residents from Meadow View Senior Living Center attended the dinner, with about five residents making the dinner trip and all enjoyed the celebration.
