The Montrose girls’ tennis team faced a 3-0 loss to Valley View in the first round of the District II Class AA playoffs after the team grabbed a 4-1 win over Scranton Prep on the road on Tuesday in the play-in match.

At Scranton Prep, Jen Reed and Anna Ruseski won their singles matches in straight sets to lead Montrose to a win
