Three new school board members were sworn in Monday atMountain ViewSchool District’s annual reorganization meeting.

Christine Plonski-Sezer, Thomas Stoddard and Roy Twining replace Gina Yarrish, Jay Wescott and Mark Phillips, respectively.

James Zick was reelected school board president and Todd Adams was elected first vice president with Plonski-Sezer voted in as treasurer.

New members were apprised of a busy next few weeks with the search for a new superintendent to replace the retiring Andrew Chichura, and the approval of a preliminary budget.

Dava Rinehart-Cowan said she planned to make sure that budget discussions started with baseline needs in a district that has shown declining student numbers over the past decade.
