TrueFriendsAnimalWelfareCenterreceived a donation Thursday from Laser Northeast Gathering of proceeds raised to benefit the shelter at a golf tournament held in September.
The $7,500 check boosted the total money raised during the event to $8,539.
True Friends director Dory Browning said, “We are sincerely grateful to Laser for their hard work and dedication in planning the golf tournament.”
“Every dollar is going to help us keep our shelter open for all our animal friends in need,” Browning said.
In addition to Laser, Browning offered thanks to the participants, sponsors and donors for the contribution.
