Katie Bennett of Elk Lake set the mark Wednesday, Sept. 3 on a new course in 20:09 at Montrose High School in leading the Lady Warriors to two wins. Kenzie Jones of Elk Lake was second and Jennifer Korty of Forest City finished third. Emma Washo set a school record for Montrose in 20:52.
Susquehanna’s Mikayla Hargett finished third in 23:25 behind two Lakeland runners at Lackawanna Trail on Wednesday.
At Montrose’s 2.97-mile course, Elk Lake took wins over Western Wayne and Honesdale. The Lady Meteors split the day, taking a win over Western Wayne but falling to Honesdale.

At Trail’s 3.1-mile course, the Lady Sabers garnered two wins and one loss; while Mountain View went 0-2 on the day.
Susquehanna picked up wins over Scranton and West Scranton but fell short against Mid Valley.
Both West Scranton and Mid Valley defeated the Lady Eagles.
