The Blue Ridge Raiders added to their win column this past week, earning victories over both Lackawanna Trail and Forest City; and Mountain View topped Elk Lake, 3-0.

At Lackwanna Trail, Austin French had 18 assists and nine aces, Kyle Bayle had 16 service points and Mark Oakley had eight digs and seven kills to lead Blue Ridge to the 3-1 win.

At Forest City Monday night, French had 19 assists and five aces and Shawn Woodruff had seven aces and 12 points as Blue Ridge rallied for the 3-2 Lackawanna League win over the Foresters.

Brad Palmatier had 14 kills for the Raiders and Mark Oakley had 10 kills.
Wade Loomis had nine kills for Forest City, Noah Fedak had five kills and 12 assists and Logan McHale had 10 assists.

In the Eagles’ win over Elk Lake, Austin Mack had 14 assists, Lucas LaRue had six digs and Mike Schevchuk had five aces to lead Mountain View to a 3-0 final in the Lackawanna League matchup.

In other volleyball action last week, Susquehanna fell to Abington Heights, 3-0; and the Warriors were defeated by Lackawanna Trail, 3-0.

At Susquehanna, Nick Lloyd had seven digs and Brandon Rafferty had 12 assists for the Sabers in the loss to Abington Heights.
