Rebecca Carmody scored 26 points to lead Western Wayne to a 38-33 win over Mid Valley in the championship game of the McLaughlin Girls Basketball Tournament held Friday at Mountain View.

Anielly Amboni scored 19 points for Mid Valley.

Because of the snowstorm expected Saturday, the tournament was shortened to one day with first round, consolation and championship games all played Friday.

The Lady Eagles fell in the consolation game of the McLaughlin Tournament to Lakeland, 65-45.

Kayla Agentowicz scored 16 points and Katie Retzbach added 14 to lead Lakeland.

Makenna Whitaker posted 22 points for Mountain View.
