Little League all-stars in full swing

Susquehanna County Little League all-star teams have begun pool play in District 15.

Susco East, Susquehanna County, Blue Ridge and Montrose have all entered teams in various divisions.
Results from games taking place last week are listed below.

DISTRICT 15


BLUE RIDGE
9-10 Baseball

The Blue Ridge 9-10 boys opened pool play with a 30-0 win over Susquehanna County on Friday, but faced a 7-0 loss at Susco East on Sunday. On Monday, Blue Ridge grabbed a 22-6 win over Montrose. The team will conclude pool play with a game against Tunkhannock on Thursday.

11-12 Baseball

The Blue Ridge 11-12 all-star team opened with a victory at RTL on Sunday, 7-6, and concluded pool play with a game at home against Tunkhannock on Tuesday.

MONTROSE
9-10 Baseball

The Montrose 9-10 baseball team opened pool play to face a loss against Susco East, 10-3, at home on Friday. Montrose then played Blue Ridge on the road Monday taking a 22-6 loss and at Tunkhannock on Tuesday. The Team concludes pool play at home against Susquehanna County on Thursday.
9-10 Softball

Montrose’s 9-10 softball all-stars faced an 11-1 loss to Tunkhannock on Saturday in its pool play opener. The team then faced off against RTL at home on Monday taking a 12-0 loss. Montrose will play Susco East at home on Wednesday, at home against NEBALL on Friday and at Athens on Sunday.
11-12 Softball

The Montrose 11-12 softball all-stars concluded pool play with an 0-3 record last week. Then team lost 16-10 at Athens on June 16, 8-6 at home against Northern Tier on June 17 and 20-7 at Towanda on June 19.

SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY
9-10 Baseball

The Susquehanna County 9-10 baseball team faced a 30-0 loss from Blue Ridge on Friday and a 33-1 loss to Tunkhannock on Sunday. The team will conclude pool play with a game at Susco East on Tuesday and another at Montrose on Thursday evening.

SUSCO EAST
9-10 Baseball

The Susco East 9-10 boys opened with a pair of wins in pool play, downing Montrose, 10-3, on Friday, and Blue Ridge 7-0 on Sunday. The team faced Tunkhannock on the road Monday taking an 11-1 loss and Susquehanna County at home on Tuesday.

9-10 Softball

The Susco East 9-10 girls’ all-stars fell in their pool play opener, 16-1, on Saturday at home against NEBALL. The team then took a 10-0 loss to Tunkhannock on the road Monday. Susco East will play at Montrose on Wednesday, at home against Athens on Friday and at RTL on Sunday.
