A New Milford man died as a result of injuries he sustained after being ejected from and pinned under his vehicle in a July 6 crash onTingley Lake Rd.

Jordan Green, 21, was traveling southbound on the roadway when he failed to negotiate a left curve. The vehicle went off the road, crossed over a private driveway and became airborne.

The Hyundai Tiburon then began to tumble towards the passenger’s side impacting a series of rocks.

The vehicle continued tumbling as it rotated, making a rear impact with a dirt embankment on the western side of the road.

Fire andEMSpersonnel extracted Green from under the passenger side rear tire area of the vehicle. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

Police reported that speed was a factor in the accident.
