LL all-stars continue action

The Susco East 11-12 boys’ all-stars are the only Susquehanna County team still alive in the District 15 playoffs after action last week which saw five local teams seasons ended.

The team is alive in consolation action, and will face off in a double-elimination bracket game against Wellsboro on Wednesday (July 11) on the road at6 p.m.

A win would send them to the Daniel J. AquilioIIItournament championship against Sayre inAthensat8 p.m.on Friday.

DISTRICT 15

BLUE RIDGE

9-10 Boys

TheBlue Ridge9-10 boys took a 14-4 victory over Susco East in the consolation bracket of the Joe Shaw Memorial Tournament. They went on to face Towanda on Thursday evening at home taking a 10-7 win before moving on to take a loss to Troy, 10-4, on the road on Saturday to end their season.

11-12 Boys

Blue Ridge’s 11-12 all-stars faced a 4-0 loss to Sayre in the Daniel J. Aquilio Memorial Tournament on Thursday night. They moved on to face Susco East in the double elimination bracket at home on Saturday where the team took a 10-8 loss to end its season.

SUSCO EAST

9-10 Boys

 The Susco East 9-10 all-stars were eliminated from the Joe Shaw Memorial Tournament with a 14-4 loss toBlue Ridgeon Monday evening.

11-12 Boys

 The Susco East 11-12 all-stars grabbed a 5-3 victory over NEBall in the double elimination bracket in the Daniel J. Aquilio Tournament on Thursday night and went on to defeat Blue Ridge 10-8 on the road on Saturday. The team then faced Tioga L’Ville on Monday on the road taking a 10-3 victory. They will now face Wellsboro on the road on Wednesday at6 p.m.

SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY

9-10 Girls

 SusquehannaCounty’s 9-10 girls’ all-stars faced a loss toSouthern Tiogain the Chris Strumski Tournament on Thursday night. They moved on to face Potter McKean on Monday night facing an 18-3 loss to end the season.

11-12 Boys

 TheSusquehannaCountyboys 11-12 all-stars took an 18-8 loss to Susco East in the double elimination bracket of the Daniel J. Aquilio Tournament on Tuesday evening to face elimination.
