Robbery charges head to court

The Montrose woman accused of assaulting an elderly Susquehanna Depot man and stealing his vehicle in October waived her preliminary hearing Monday in New Milford District Court.

Tracey Ramsay, 30, of Montrose, faces felony charges of robbery of a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. She also faces misdemeanor counts of simple assault and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She is being held on $25,000 bail.

A formal arraignment in the Susquehanna County Court of Common Pleas was scheduled for Dec. 20.

Ramsay was picked up by police inPhiladelphiafive days after the assault.

Ramsay’s boyfriend, Daniel Bentz, 30, Susquehanna, also faces charges in connection with the robbery and assault. Bentz was apprehended by police the day of the incident.
