A pair of Susquehanna County runners completed Monday’s Boston Marathon that was won in record time by Kenyan Geoffrey Mutai in two hours, three minutes and two seconds.
The top female finisher was Kenyan Caroline Kilel in two hours, 22 minutes and 36 seconds just two seconds ahead of American Desiree Davila.
From Susquehanna County, Joseph Kelly, 28, of Clifford Township, finished in 10,242nd place with a time of three hours, 39 minutes and five seconds.
Blue Ridge graduate Erica L. Riecke, 27, now of Clarks Summit finished in 13,418th place with a time of three hours and 50 minutes.
