A Great Bend man, already being held in the Susquehanna County jail for attempting to lure a teen over the internet for sexual favors last year, now faces felony child pornography charges.<\/p>\n

Investigators found 110 pictures and 10 videos depicting children engaged in sexual acts or in a state of nudity on a computer seized from Duane Jay Anderson last year.<\/p>\n

Anderson, 33, was charged Friday by Agent Kurt Smith of the attorney general\u2019s Child Predator Unit with felony counts of photographs\/videos on computer or film depicting sexual acts with a child under the age of 18 and possession of child pornography.<\/p>\n

One of the children depicted was identified to agents by the child\u2019s mother in May.<\/p>\n

The Scranton Times-Tribune does not disclose the name of sexual assault victims.<\/p>\n

Anderson was arraigned Friday on the new charges in front of District Judge Peter Janicelli, New Milford. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for Oct. 14.<\/p>\n

Anderson and his girlfriend, Jamie Nicole Eastman, 20, were arrested Dec. 30, 2009, after they allegedly arranged to meet with a person they believed was a 13-year-old girl for sexual purposes.<\/p>\n

Authorities allege the two had attempted to lure the teen to meet during several, explicit internet chats. The couple had actually been communicating with a Child Predator Unit agent.<\/p>\n

Anderson has been held in the county jail on $75,000 bail since his Dec. 2009 arrest.<\/p>\n

He was also charged in January by State Police Trooper Mark Mulvey with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault of a minor in connection with a June 2009 incident. Bail on those felony charges was set at $125,000.<\/p>\n

Bail for Eastman was originally set for $75,000 but was reduced to $50,000 earlier this year. She is still being held in the county jail in lieu of bail.<\/p>\n

All charges lodged against the two earlier this year have been bound over to the Susquehanna County Court of Common Pleas.<\/p>\n

Eastman is expected to enter a plea on Oct. 1. She is the first woman in Pennsylvania to face charges lodged by the Child Predator Unit.<\/p>\n

Anderson is currently awaiting trial on the two sets of charges filed against him in December 2009 and January.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
