The driver of the vehicle, a 24-year-old Hop Bottom man was injured in the crash.<\/p>\n<p>Police identified the woman as Shannon Schuler. The name of the driver has not yet been released by authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Police reported that neither Schuler not the driver were wearing seat belts when the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve left the roadway at about 4 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The car spun in the grass then vaulted off a bank, going airborne. While in the air, the driver\u2019s side of the vehicle struck a tree. The car then rolled onto its roof.<\/p>\n<p>The driver was able to exit the car. He walked to a neighboring residence and called 911. He was transported to Geisinger CMC, Scranton for treatment of his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Schuler was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Police are investigating the crash. Tpr. Vito Cusumano responded to the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Another Sunday crash \u2013 this one on Creamery Road, Rush Twp., sent two women to the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, a Meshoppen women, age 25, sustained serious injuries. Police said she was not wearing a seat belt. She was transported to Geisinger CMC, Scranton, for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>A Montrose woman, also age 25, sustained moderate injuries and was wearing a seat belt, according to police. She was transported to Wilson Hospital, Johnson City, N.Y., for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was traveling south on Creamery Road with it traveled off the roadway. The driver overcorrected and then went off the opposite side of the road and struck a tree.<\/p>\n<p>This crash also remains under investigation by Tpr.
