State police found a backpack with a 2-liter bottle used to make methamphetamine Sunday night when they went to the Convenient Food Market in the village of Lenoxville to investigate a domestic dispute, Susquehanna County District Attorney Jason Legg said Monday.<\/p>\n

Legg said police arrested three men and took a woman involved in the dispute to a hospital for evaluation after she was found \u201cacting oddly.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said the bottle was part of a method called \u201ca one-pot cook,\u201d now favored by methamphetamine manufacturers because of the difficulty in getting larger amounts of the chemicals necessary to make large quantities.<\/p>\n

One of the three men was identified as William Conrad IV, 32, of Union Dale.<\/p>\n

He was arraigned Monday morning in New Milford District Court and is being held on $250,000 bail.<\/p>\n

Conrad has been charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance; use\/possession of drug paraphernalia; and three counts of possession of red phosphorus with intent to manufacture a controlled substance.<\/p>\n

A preliminary hearing for Conrad was scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 in Clifford District Court.<\/p>\n
