Coaches in the Lackawanna Golf League tabbed Holy Cross to repeat as the District 2 Class AA title winners of the Small School Division.<\/p>\n

Holy Cross won the overall title of the 51st Jackman Memorial Tournament on Friday.<\/p>\n

Two golfers from Forest City also turned in solid performances at the tournament with juniors Adam Kowalewski (80) and Dylan O\u2019Dell (81).<\/p>\n

Montrose was led by junior Austin Smith\u2019s 75 on Friday. The Meteors were another team given consideration by coaches, though it\u2019s lost one of its key players to an illness that could sideline him most of the season.<\/p>\n

Forest City and Montrose both picked up wins in matches held Monday, Aug. 18, while Elk Lake and Mountain View fell to competitors.<\/p>\n

\nAt Memorial Links, Dylan O\u2019Dell birdied No. 8 and then parred the last hole to win his match and lead Forest City.<\/p>\n

Matt Torrisi shot even-par 35 for Riverside.<\/p>\n
