Susquehanna County Council of Republican Women held their annual picnic on July 17, at the Green Gables Pavilion in New Milford.<\/p>\n

President Marion O’Malley welcomed fellow Republicans from Bradford, Wyoming, Wayne, and Lackawanna Counties as well as State Senator Lisa Baker, State Representatives Sandra Major and Tina Pickett; Republican County Chairman Donna Cosmello and Vice-Chairman Carolyn Paccio, former County Chairman Mike Redding and former Republican Women State President Carol Masters<\/p>\n

Elected officials from Susquehanna County able to attend were: Commissioner Alan Hall; District Attorney Jason Legg; Sheriff Lance Benedict; Coroner Tony Conarton; Treasurer Cathy Benedict; Register and Recorder Mary Evans; Prothonotary Sue Eddleston<\/p>\n

Cosmello, the county chairperson of the party, spoke of the need for volunteers to work in the upcoming election. “This November will be a tough election and we need to be a team,” she said. She also introduced the newly appointed committee people.<\/p>\n
