The EMHS 3rd Annual 5K Run\/Walk will be held Saturday, Aug. 2, at EMHS Hospital benefiting the Endless Mountains Medical Care Foundation.<\/p>\n
Registrations received by July 29 are $15, ages 16 and over; and $8, ages 15 and under; registrations received after July 29 are $20, ages 16 and over; and $13, ages 15 and under.<\/p>\n
Free t-shirts will be given to the first 50 participants. Prizes will be awarded by age categories for runners and walkers.<\/p>\n

Field, Forest and Falls trail race<\/p>\n
The Salt Springs Field, Forest and Falls trail race returns, Saturday, August 30, 8:30 a.m. with a 5.5- and 2.5-mile trail races; the short course is great for kids and beginners.<\/p>\n
Early registration, no T-shirt, $10; with T-shirt, $17. Day of race, $15.<\/p>\n

D&H Distance Run<\/p>\n
The 7th Annual D&H Distance Run will be held Sunday, Sept. 7, at 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
The 13.1 mile race will be an “out and back” run on the D&H Rail-Trail from Forest City to Union Dale on Sept. 7, with a 9 a.m. start, chip-timing.<\/p>\n
The run is a great tune-up for those training for the Steamtown Marathon and a great race for those attempting longer distance runs.<\/p>\n
