Susquehanna County Correctional Facility warden Nicholas Conigliaro will be taking on a new role in law enforcement.<\/p>\n

The County Commissioners approved Conigliaro\u2019s transfer to the newly created Community Corrections Officer position at the July 9 meeting, per the recommendation of the Prison Board. The Prison Board is comprised of the commissioners, Sheriff Lance Benedict and District Attorney Jason Legg.<\/p>\n

But Conigliaro\u2019s transfer won\u2019t take place until a new warden is hired for the jail.<\/p>\n

Commissioner Alan Hall said that the Community Corrections Officer will be responsible for the operational functions at the jail; as well as keep track of those on bail supervision and work release.<\/p>\n

The jail will see some other changes to personnel, with status changes made for several corrections officers, as well as the hiring of one part-time CO, and the resignation of another corrections officer:<\/p>\n

*Jordan Smith, of Montrose, was hired as a part-time corrections officer, effective June 25;<\/p>\n

*Carrie Guzy moved from part-time to full-time, effective May 8;<\/p>\n

*Emily Gow changed from part-time to full-time, effective June 5;<\/p>\n

*Jamie Plymill moved part-time to full-time, effective May 29;<\/p>\n

*Curtis Walker went from part-time to full-time, effective June 12;<\/p>\n

*Ronald Gregory changed from part-time to full-time, effective June 6.<\/p>\n

*Justin Poklemba from full-time to part-time CO, effective June 6.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
