The Montrose track teams swept the Lackawanna League Division IV title Monday with a win over Blue Ridge and completed an undefeated season.<\/p>\n

Montrose boys claimed the win over the Raiders, 83-67, and the Lady Meteors took a 115-34 victory. Montrose had been tied for first place in the division going into Monday\u2019s meet.<\/p>\n

In last week\u2019s meet against Lackawanna Trail, Brenton Warner won the shot, discus and javelin, and Mike Stewart won the 100-meter dash, the 200 and the long jump to lead the Meteors.<\/p>\n

Montrose won the title as Billy Hewes took the 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Owen Brewer won the 1,600 and 3,200 and Brenton Warner won the shot and discus.<\/p>\n

In the Montrose girls meet against Trail, Brianna Thompson won the shot, discus and javelin, Michaela Pike won the triple and high jumps and Emma Washo won the 1,600 and 3,200 for the Lady Meteors in a 138-1 win over Lackawanna Trail.<\/p>\n

Facing Blue Ridge, Montrose\u2019s Rebecca Timm set a school record in the 300 hurdles in 47.9 seconds with her second place finish.<\/p>\n

Blue Ridge\u2019s Lindsey Rupakus took a late lead over Montrose\u2019s Rebecca Timm for the win in the 300 hurdles. Rupakus\u2019 time, of 47.0 seconds set a new school record. Timm, with a time of 47.9 seconds also set a new school record for Montrose. STAFF PHOTO\/STACI WILSON<\/p><\/div>\n

Elsewhere in boys track last week, Mountain View defeated Susquehanna, 122-21. Brett Crowley had wins in the 400 and 800 and James Goodenough won the 200 and high jump.<\/p>\n

Susquehanna\u2019s Mike Pelicci won the shot, discus and javelin.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Lackawanna Trail beat Susquehanna, 132-9.<\/p>\n

Hunter Watkins won the 300<\/p>\n

Elk Lake’s Taylor Watkins took first in the javelin on Friday at the Lasagna Tournament with a throw of 125 feet, three inches. PHOTO\/ED KING<\/p><\/div>\n

hurdles, the discus and the javelin to lead Elk Lake to an 83-62 win over Mountain View.<\/p>\n

And in girls\u2019 track action last week, Alexia Presley won the 100 hurdles and 300 hurdles, Stephanie Ostir won the 100 and 200 and Emillie Miller won the shot and javelin for Mountain View in a 113-30 win over Susquehanna.<\/p>\n

On Monday, Elk Lake defeated Mountain View, 90-51, as Kenzie Jones won the 1,600 and 3,200.<\/p>\n

Susquehanna defeated Lackawanna Trail, 69-60. Ivy Christensen won the 800 and high jump for the winners.<\/p>\n
