\nCorrespondent <\/strong><\/p>\n

Members of the two Susquehanna County Business and Professional Women Clubs attended the District Eight Spring Conference on Sunday, April 6, in Olyphant.<\/p>\n

Montrose President April Taylor Kirkpatrick was accompanied by Vice-President Jennifer Losier and Past District Director Susan Gesford; Nellie Jane DeWitt Club President Colleen Wilkes was accompanied by Past District Director Lori Hubal and members Ethel Ambagais and Helen Foster.
\nDistrict Director Susan Vladika opened the conference and following the Collect and Pledge, Carbondale BPW President Debby Longacre, representing the hostess club, welcomed everyone to the conference.<\/p>\n

Members were encouraged to attend the June 12-15 state convention which will be held at the Radisson in Scranton.<\/p>\n

The Nellie Jane Dewitt club received an award for its scrapbook, compiled by Berry Koscelnak and also an attendance award.<\/p>\n

Lori Hubal was installed as the 2014-15 District Director by Past District Director Melinda Ghilardi. Susan Gesford was installed as the Susan Gesford as Assistant District Director.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
