Mountain View showed off its command creating can sculptures earning the top prize for the second year in a row in the annual Feed-A-Friend contest.<\/p>\n

The Eagles Student Government Association used over 900 cans to create a Duck Dynasty-inspired Duck Commander logo in the lobby of the high school.<\/p>\n

The cans, along with the other donations, were collected throughout the school and will be distributed with Trehab\u2019s annual Thanksgiving dinner giveaway.<\/p>\n

Blue Ridge and Elk Lake also participated in the can sculpture contest, and each group had a different take on designs.<\/p>\n

Blue Ridge Leo Club members created a three-dimensional lunch box complete with a carrot and Raider water bottle. STAFF PHOTO\/STACI WILSON<\/p><\/div>\n

Blue Ridge\u2019s Leo Club incorporated food into the theme \u2013 designing a three-dimensional lunch box, complete with cans wrapped to resemble a carrot and a Raider reusable water bottle made from cans wrapped in red paper with the school logo.<\/p>\n

Elk Lake\u2019s Student Council focused on the community and holiday spirit of Feed-A-Friend with cans wrapped in green to create a backdrop for a paper turkey and cans arranged into a heart at the base of the design.<\/p>\n

In addition to area schools, churches and other community organizations also contribute to the Feed-A-Friend program.<\/p>\n

Thanksgiving dinners, complete with turkeys, will be distributed from Trehab\u2019s Susquehanna and Montrose food bank locations to area families.<\/p>\n
