The sentences were handed down by Judge Tina Polachek Gartley.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">Browning pleaded guilty to the offenses earlier this year, said Assistant District Attorney Albert Yacoub. The incidents took place in August and September 2009.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">The incidents involved breaking into several cars and garages, Watt said.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">According to Watt, Browning was sentenced to serve six to 12 months on each of three burglary charges, and Polachek Gartley ordered the sentences be served consecutively.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">As part of his plea agreement, Browning will pay restitution to the victims amounting to around $8,000, Watt said. There were several other incidents in the same time frame that Browning was charged with, Watt said, that were dropped in the agreement.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">Watt stated that Browning admitted committing the burglaries because of his drug addiction.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">&#8220;He&#8217;s now been sober for a period of time, and he looks back and sees how awful these acts were,&#8221; Watt said.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">Browning may not have to serve his full sentence, Watt said.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">According to the attorney, Browning will be eligible for parole after 13-1\/2 months, on the condition that he enter a court-supervised rehabilitation program.<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 6pt 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0in\">The type of treatment will be decided at a future parole hearing, Watt said.
