Riley Brown and Paul Motsko swept three points in the middle group as Montrose handed Forest City its first loss, 5-4, in a Lackawanna League Division III golf match Monday.
Adam Kowalewski and Lucas O’Neill won three points in the final group for Forest City.
Izzy Ficarro, Greg Tracy and Jordan Kochmer each earned a point for the Eagles in a 5-4 Mountain View loss to Holy Cross.
At Tall Pines, Cole Tyler led the way for Elk Lake, winning the team’s only individual match and helping the Warriors to a half point in better ball against Mid Valley.
At Panorama, Abigail Roe, Gwen MacConnell, Isabella Cosmello and Corbin French swept their individual and better-ball matches to lead Blue Ridge to its first win of the season, 7-2, over Carbondale.
At Memorial Links on Wednesday, Sept. 16, Dylan O’Dell and Mitchell Blake swept three points in the middle group in a Division III match with a 7-0 Forest City win over Dunmore.
Montrose took a 5-4 win over Carbondale. At the Montrose Club, Austin Smith and Jake Kelley swept three points in the first group to lead Montrose.
Greg Tracy had two wins for Mountain View in a 5-4 loss to Lackawanna Trail.
Elk Lake fell to Holy Cross, 9-0; but took a 6½-2½ win over Blue Ridge on the week.
On the back nine at Golden Oak, Thomas Proske, Cole Tyler and Jack Waldenberger each had two wins to lead Elk Lake.
Isabella Cosmello and Kevin Seltie had wins for Blue Ridge.
