Montrose, which won the Division IV title last season, and Elk Lake are expected to be the top contenders on the track this spring.
The Meteors return Billy Hewes, who was a district-medal winner in the hurdles, distance runner Owen Brewer and high jumper Colin Mondi, who earned a medal at the PTFCA state indoor meet.
Elk Lake returns District 2 Class AA javelin champion Hunter Watkins, and will be strong in the distance races with Hunter Bedell.
Blue Ridge will be led by District 2 Class AA discus champion and medal winner Brett Hepler in the throwing events, and Craig Stanley in the jumps.
Mountain View’s James Goodenough was an LTC Division III-IV all-star in the 400 last season.
