A Hallstead woman has been charged in the Dec. 29, 2014 theft of a donation jar from a convenience store counter.
Police received several calls after local media publicized information about the white female suspect with “No Remorse” tattooed on her neck that led to the arrest of Kendra Ososki, police said in a Jan. 8 release.
She is accused of taking a True Friends Animal Welfare Center donation jar, containing about $18, from the counter of the Pump N Pantry convenience store located on SR 11, New Milford at about 3 a.m., Dec. 29.
According to police, Ososki confessed to the theft and said she had used the money that was in the jar.
True Friends Animal Welfare Center is a not-for-profit, no-kill animal shelter serving Susquehanna and Wyoming counties and is located in Bridgewater Twp.
Charges against Ososki are expected to be filed in New Milford District Court by Tpr. Eric Burns.
