New Milford borough council received the complete proposed comprehensive plan.

There are a number of steps that both the borough planning commission and council need to take before the comprehensive plan can be adopted, including a public meeting about the plan.

Twenty new spring banners have been ordered and will be placed on the poles along Main Street this season.

Council also discussed areas that needed to be attended to in MidTown Park prior to Memorial Day.

A New Milford borough website is in development, with council exploring the possibility of providing links to area businesses on the site.

The borough is moving forward with finalizing a contract with Great Bend Borough for police coverage in New Milford.

New Milford Borough Council meetings are held on the first and third Thursday of each month, 7 p.m., in the borough building on Main St.
