Montrose varsity wrestlers took third at the South Williamsport Tournament on Saturday, with three Meteors finishing the day as champions.

Tourney champs were Joe Hester at 106; Jacob O’Brien at 120; and Makeela Fabrizio at 138.

Runners-up were Cole Aukema (152), and Colin Mondi (195).

Finishing in third place were Chucky Rohan (126), Mikyle Fabrizio (132), and Joe Igo (170).

Justin Kelley (220) and Robert Gregory (285) brought home fourth; and Marc Avila (145) came in fifth.

The Meteors will travel to Lackawanna Trail Wednesday night to wrestle Lackawanna Trail and Valley View in a battle for the division title.
