Montrose won 13 games and advanced to the Class A championship game but will have to fill the void left by four first-team all-stars, including All-Region selection Troy Ely.
The Meteors do return three second-team selections in juniors Giovanni Amato, Chris Spence and goalie Brendan Buck.
Mountain View, which saw its four-year district reign atop Class A end in last year’s semifinals to Montrose, will have to replace three first-team all-stars, which includes All-Region forward James Goodenough. The Eagles return five starters.
Elk Lake returns three first-team juniors in Ben Woolcock, Jason Vasquez and goalkeeper Zach Groover, Forest City bring back first-teamer Jared Paulin, who scored 11 goals.
