A 32 year old Peckville woman was killed Monday morning in a crash on I-81 in New Milford Township. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Mariam Razzazan was traveling north when she lost control of her Toyota 4 Runner at mile marker 219 on the ice and snow covered roadway. Her vehicle struck a snow bank, overturned and then entered the travel lanes on its side.

The Toyota’s roof was struck by another northbound vehicle driven by Terrence Landry, 67, Ottawa, Ont. Can. Landry sustained a minor injury and passenger Carolyn Landry, 40, sustained a moderate injury. Both were transported to Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, N.Y., for treatment.
