Elk Lake, Montrose, Blue Ridge get wins on week

Montrose took a loss from No. 3 Dunmore Tuesday in a Lackawanna League Division III-IV crossover girls basketball game Tuesday.

Morgan Groover scored 17 points and Meghan Gilhool added 12 for seventh-ranked Montrose.

At Forest City, McKenzie Hartman scored 22 points to lead the Lady Foresters to a Division IV win, 44-38, over Mountain View.

Ariana Gabriel had 20 points for Mountain View.

At Elk Lake, Keri Jones scored 13 points and Darci Warner had 12 to lead the Lady Warriors in 43-34 victory over Susquehanna.

Nicole Barnes scored 12 points for Susquehanna and D.J. Decker added 11.

At Lackawanna Trail, Blue Ridge fell 51-43 to the Lady Lions.

Isabella Cosmello scored a game-high 19 points for Blue Ridge.

On Thursday, the Lady Raiders turned their luck around with a 44-39 win over Mountain View.

At Mountain View, Isabella Cosmello scored 15 points to lead Blue Ridge to a Division IV win.

Abby Hartman added 13 points for the Lady Raiders; and Kim Klim posted seven.

Makenna Whitaker had 24 points for Mountain View.

At Elk Lake, Keri Jones scored 18 points to lead the Lady Warriors, 52-41, over Lackawanna Trail.

Justine Johns had 13 points for the winners and Darci Warner added 10.

At Susquehanna, Meghan Gilhool scored 19 points to lead No. 7 Montrose in a 49-28 win over the Lady Sabers.

Fallon Gurn added 14 points for the Lady Meteors.

Mikaela Hargett and Nicole Barnes each had seven points for Susquehanna.

On Friday, Riverside scored a 40-29 win over Forest City in a Lackawanna League Division III-IV crossover girls basketball game.

McKenzie Hartman had 13 points for Forest City.

Carbondale Area scored a 69-46 victory over Susquehanna in a Division III-IV girls basketball crossover game Saturday.

Nicole Barnes scored 11 points and D.J. Decker had 10 to pace Susquehanna.

At Blue Ridge, Madison McGraw scored 19 points to lead Forest City to a Division IV win, 52-21.

Katelyn Zembrzycki added 16 points for the Lady Foresters.

Abby Roe led Blue Ridge with seven points.
