The Pennsylvania Game Commission is actively investigating a non-fatal hunting accident that happened Saturday in Gibson Twp.
According to PGC spokesman Bill Williams, the victim was a 49-year-old male. The man was hit by a projectile from a firearm. The shooter was a juvenile male relative.
Williams was able to provide few details about the incident on Monday but said Wildlife Conservation Officer Richard Briggs was heading up the investigation.
According to reports, the victim, who was not identified, was flown to Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, for treatment.
