The Forest City boys’ basketball team faced a 44-28 loss from Old Forge in the District II Class A playoffs at North Pocono High School.

The Foresters got an early lead over the Blue Devils as they sprung out to 8-5 advantage after the first, but after a 19-9 rally by Old Forge in the second, Forest City was at a 24-17 deficit at halftime.

In the third, Old Forge paced the Foresters 12-6, and then capped off the victory with an 8-5 run in the fourth.

ForestCitywas led by Noah Fedak with 11 points while Matt Nevins chipped in seven and Dave Cavalieri had six points.

The Foresters end their season with a 2-21 overall record.
